Many references to the crucial role portrayed by the Greeks of the United States concerning the Cyprus dispute and the country’s national issues in general, were made during a speech by PASOK MP, Evangelos Venizelos during an event organized by various Greek-American organizations in Astoria, NY.

AntigoneSis... ...Re the bone marrow drive for Joanna. I was unable to get to a drive in Chicago this weekend, but if you sign up before May 19 on-line to be a donor, the $52 charge is waived. Go to http://www.marrow.org/ to become a donor. All you have to do is provide a swab of the inside of your cheek. I believe that people residing overseas can participate as well. I understand that the need for various ethnicities (Asian, Mediterranean, etc) in the registry is large. It's easy...please do it!
